Oral Surgery in Moraira
Oral surgery is the branch of dentistry that deals with all surgical treatments of the mouth: tooth extractions, wisdom teeth surgery, biopsies, cysts, jaw tumors, etc.

Wisdom Tooth Removal
Wisdom teeth extraction surgery is a quick and comfortable procedure, lasting about 40 minutes, and is typically performed under local anesthesia. Recovery time is usually between 2-3 days, provided that minimally invasive techniques are used and recommended postoperative guidelines are followed.
Surgery for Impacted Teeth
Sometimes canines (eyeteeth) can become impacted within the palate or jaw and fail to erupt into the mouth. It is very important to make an early diagnosis that allows them to be brought to their usual position in time.
To move the canine to its normal position and align it with the rest of the teeth, a small surgery is performed to expose it (fenestration), and it is aligned with the rest of the teeth through orthodontic treatment.
Fenestration or extraction of any impacted tooth (one that has not erupted into the mouth) is necessary to prevent pain, infection, cavities, cyst or tumor formation, and damage and periodontal disease in neighboring teeth.
It is a quick and comfortable procedure lasting about 30 minutes and is performed under local anesthesia. Recovery usually takes no more than 2-3 days, provided that minimally invasive techniques are used and recommended postoperative guidelines are followed.
